Amsterdam was resplendent. It was just right.
There weren’t too many tourists yet. The spring sun lit up every single building to look its best. Everybody seemed to be in a good mood.
It was so Technicolor that my senses heightened. I spotted all sorts of details that I wouldn’t normally see.
I took a fresh look at the city. Almost every house and building was remarkable today.
This building houses the office of the Hendrick de Keyser Foundation, a charity that preserves such remarkable buildings.
I wanted to stay. I couldn’t. I’ll be going back soon, before the season begins.
